JCI European Conference Budapest 2009

JCI Cluj-Napoca Warm Up Conference aims to contribute to the local team consolidation and to enable our members development through trainings and networking. JCI runs several other conferences yearly all over Romania.

The main topic of the JCI EC2009 conference is innovation, so keynote speeches and business programs are organized accordingly.
The main program types are as follows:
·         Keynote Speakers
·         JCI Training
·         Deloitte Day
·         BNE (Business Network Event)
·         MIP (Management in Practice)
·         Business Lounge
·         All Day Training
Keynote Speakers
One of the main attractions of a JCI Conference are those keynote speakers, who serve as living examples, and/or have impact the world.
George Soros / Soros György: Hungarian related investor, multimillionaire. He earned his success through his investments in the stock and currency markets and arbitrage.  He has heavily supported the growth of democracy in former closed societies through the Soros Foundation.
We are seeking a keynote speaker from The Ken Blanchard Companies, a global leader in workplace learning, productivity, performance and leadership effectiveness solutions, through its Blanchard International Hungarian office, for JCIEC2009.  Previous information shown on this site earlier was posted prematurely.
 JCI Training
JCI’s own training organization, the JCI University, works hard to expand JCI members’ education. Training is provided by the JCI University in such topics as presentation skills and leadership skills.
2-3 days training programs of the JCI University are held before the Conference.  The focus of these programs is presentation skills and train-the-trainer programs.
The final schedule of JCI training programs will be published in Q1 2009.
Deloitte Day
During Deloitte Day – involving Deloitte’s international partners – delegates will participate in workshops on the different possibilities of financing innovation and current international finance- and taxation trends. As an example, the Hungarian tax system will be described.
During the day participants will learn to use European Union Funds, and the appropriation and reporting methods experienced by Hungarian clients and will be provided with concrete examples.
Business Network Event - BNE
A Hungarian JCI invention, the BNE is already a part of all international JCI conferences. During the BNE the participants have the possibility to present business offers and receive offers from other JCI members in return during a short period of time. Understanding the time limitations should inspire participants to utilize the Business Lounge during the course of the conference.
Management in Practice - MIP
We aim to present internationally known and respected Hungarian companies. During the MIP program we will organize visits to the companies where the CEO – in same cases the founder and owner – will present how their enterprise became internationally known and respected. We believe that we all could learn from the experiences of these companies and leaders.
We have contacted the following companies and invited them to take part in the MIP: Nav’n’GO (navigational software development), Graphisoft (planning software development), Törley Hungaria (sparking wine), Kürt Computer (data recovery), and Zsolnay (fine porcelain). The final list of participating companies will be published during Q1 2009.
Business Lounge
We will provide the use of the Business Lounge for those who wish to continue discussions started during the BNE and which could lead to the conclusion of business arrangements.
All day training programs
We offer all day training programs necessary to run successful enterprises: change management; motivational skills; and, business plan writing as examples. Professional training companies who are the partners of JCI Hungary will lead the training.
